Hello, neighbors! PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is making some changes to bus routes and schedules during the Jakarta Running Festival (JRF) 2026 on October 24–25, 2026. Here’s what you need to know to avoid delays and plan your commute better.
Why the changes? The festival will be held in areas like Bundaran Senayan, Monas, and Kuningan, which are major transit hubs. To keep things smooth for runners and commuters, Transjakarta is adjusting routes and schedules. They’re also offering free shuttle services for participants – a nice touch!
Route Changes on Saturday (October 24)
- Koridor 1: Bypasses Monas to ASEAN area. Avoid stops near Monas!
- Koridor 9: Routes are rerouted via toll roads. Check for updates on apps.
- Rute 1W: Doesn’t stop at Petamburan to Blok M. Use alternate routes.
- Shuttle 51ST: Starts at IRTI instead of HBKB. Avoid Monas and Bundaran Senayan.
Route Changes on Sunday (October 25)
- Koridor 2 & 3: Skip Monas and Balai Kota. Use Pecenongan and Juanda stops.
- Rute 5C: Avoids Monas and Balai Kota. Use Gambir and Istiqlal instead.
- Rute 14A: Bypasses Monas entirely. Head to Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) via alternate roads.
What should you do?
- Check your route: Use the Transjakarta app or website before heading out.
- Plan extra time: Traffic might be heavier near festival zones. Leave earlier if possible.
- Stay updated: Follow Transjakarta’s social media for real-time updates.
Transjakarta will monitor traffic and restore normal services after the festival ends. Let’s all work together to keep the roads moving smoothly during this event!
